    6.     What territories did Og rule over?  Why would he be listed as a “remnant of Rephaim”?  What does that tell us about Rephaim?  Who struck these kings down?  Who are the lands given to as an inheritance? Why are only these three tribes promised an inheritance east of the Jordan? 


    7.     Who strikes down all the territories west of the Jordan? How many kings are defeated in their conquest?

    3.     How far does the allotment of land go for Joseph’s descendants?  What do Joseph’s descendants complain about?  What is Joshua’s proposed solution?  What is their response?  How does Joshua respond?  Is this different from the first solution he gave them?  


    4.     What are cities of refuge?  Who is allowed to go there?  What happens if a person that fled to a city of refuge leaves?  Does he still have the same protections as he does in the refuge city? 


    5.     How do the tribes west of the Jordan react when they see the altar built by the eastern tribes?  Why they respond this way?  What explanation for the altar do the eastern tribes give?  What is their intent with this altar?


    6.     Who does Joshua assemble when he is “getting on in years”?  What does he tell them about the land allotted?  What does he command them to do?
